Allowing Other Users to Create Records for You


When lab members are collaborating on the same project and need to have the ability to create data records for each other, they can do so from the Owner permissions menu on the blue navigation bar by following these steps:

  1. Click the Owner Permissions menu
  2. For each user in the drop down, select "Yes" in the first drop down to indicate that you would like to give that user the ability to create records for you
  3. If "Yes" is selected, you will then see a second drop down where you can also input if you would like to also give this user the ability to change the owners of your records (e.g. change the owner of your record from you to someone else in the lab)
  4. Click Save when done
